VW T5 and T6 Awning Kit

Now that the 4900 awning has been demised this VW T5 and T6 Awning kit comes with the new improved Thule Omnistor 4200 awning and adapters to fit VW T5 & T6 lift roof RHD vans.

The Omnistor 4200 from the Thule Omnistor awning range, is available in White, Anodised (Silver) and Anthracite (Black) cassettes and Mystic Grey fabric at a length of 2.60m and projection of 2.00m for SWB VW T5 and T6 and a length of 3.00m with projection of 2.50m for LWB VW T5 and T6 camper vans. 

The adapter should be mounted on the edge of the roof and sidewall and this mounting requires no roof rail.

The Thule Omnistor 4200 features a smaller roller tube which Thule engineers are proud to say enables a huge reduction in weight, while increasing stability and optimising fabric tension. With thanks to the new design of the awning's legs, when winding out the awning the legs drop vertically to reduce the risk of damaging your vehicle. Thule's optimal closing also allows you to adjust the cassette for perfect opening and closing after years of usage.

The roll-out canopy fabric is composed of one single sheet with welded joints which offers excellent waterproofing providing you with a long-lasting awning. A lighter fabric also helps the awning to retain fabric tension, reducing the build-up of puddles on the roof.
